Come to Jesus, my thaughts on John 6:37

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. KJB

This is a verse that has given many hope including my self. I know how badly we need Jesus to be saved. We are not able to save our selves as I have mentioned before. If we have had one sin there is nothing we can do in order to take that sin away. Only the blood of Jesus can take away sins, No one else and nothing else can take away your sins. So we need to come to him and have our sins washed away.  It is good that he has put this verse in his word as I know some are so beaten down by their own sins that they are terrified that GOD or Jesus will cast them away because of their sins. This verse however and thankfully would go against that. You do not have to be terrified or concerned about coming to Jesus according to this verse. This is a very good thing.

I am aware that there are those who come to Jesus for all the wrong reasons like coming to him to get food such as what happens not long before this verse is mentioned.

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

If you read my history (which I think I may need to proof read and correct any errors ) you will see that at first I came to him for the wrong reasons until finally I came to him for the correct reasons and became saved by him. So make sure you come to him for the correct reasons which is to be forgiven and to have fellowship with Him and his father through the spirit. Also repentance is important, not mentioned in these verses but is mentioned in other places. Another wrong reason to come to him is to get fame and Fortune. Because he says he will not cast some one away who comes to him I believe that if some one comes to him for the wrong reason that person is not really coming to him at all or at least not in the way this verse is talking about specially if you read the verse before it.

John6:36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. KJB

Those who come to him are chosen by GOD and based on another parable by Jesus I think all are called however some can make up excuses and not listen to the calling. Here is the Parable I am talking about. I could also mention the verse where it is mentioned that GOD wants no one to parish.

Luke 14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. KJB

This shows that people can get a call by GOD and yet refuse to go to Jesus . I know farther on in that story is mentioned a man who was cast out. The only reason that has been showed to me as to why is he is not wearing the righteousness of Christ instead he is under his own righteousness. So another reason to come to him is to take on his righteousness as our righteousness is like filthy rags. Now in editing this I have maybe found another reason for that man being cast out. In revelation we have something about being washed by the blood of Jesus and having clean garments on. Again showing how much we need Jesus to be saved.

Any way be not afraid or concerned or even terrified about coming to him. If you come to him for the correct reasons he will not cast you out because you are actually called by him and are one who is obeying that calling. So obey and come to him. Come to him to be saved, to be forgiven (sins washed away), to have fellowship with GOD and his son Through the spirit and to take on his righteousness. These are all very good things and are just awesome that he is willing to give us all that. No burdens on our part just come to him. We do not have to try and save our selves. He can do the saving we just have to obey and trust him. He is well worth coming to because he loves us very much. This proves how much he loves us. Now if we come to him then we can live for him and that does not mean we can live any way we want but why would you want to live any way you want when he has been so kind to you? I am not claiming to be perfect my self, Although I am made clean by the blood of Jesus. I do make mistakes and do get things wrong and do stumble in to sin and if you know me I beat my self up over that because I know the things I have written here. Many times I have asked GOD for a new heart and interestingly enough he has answered that prayer. He has changed my heart many times and this is one reason I find sin disgusting and repulsive. Well that and the fact that I also know that every sin I have ever done or will do put Jesus on the cross. So when I sin I feel I am hurting him. So when someone tells me I should not be disgusted by sin they are in a way telling me to not love GOD or Jesus. I do love GOD very much. My desire is for you to love him as well. He is a good and awesome GOD well worth having a relationship with.

Point to Ponder – True Love by Ed Marton

True love, REAL love is a journey and a learning process, for it is written:

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

And again it is written:

Ephesians 5: 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it.

And yet again it is written:

Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Lust is of the flesh, Attraction is instant and temporal, infatuation is shallow and fleeting, but love, love is eternal and anything eternal introduced into finite application, must be endured and learned.

Point to Ponder – Little sin – by Ed Marton

“little sins” ((as if there was such a thing)) are like little snakes, they kill you just as fast as the “big ones”… mainly because, well, they’re sin and that’s what sin does. Size has nothing to do with potency.

Point to Ponder Jan 24th by Ed Marton

We have a choice to make, we will either leave our homes today on God’s side, and all of Hell will oppose us, or we leave our house on Satan’s side and God himself will oppose us. What kingdom will you submit to today and what forces will you strive with? We have promises in God’s word, one of those promises is “he who trusts in the Lord shall never be ashamed.” The other promise is “all that oppose the Lord shall be broken.”

Point to Ponder: Jan 31 by Ed Marton

God’s call on your life and His commands concerning how you treat others didn’t come with an “in case they…” clause! In fact according to Jesus’ example, it came with a “inspite of” clause. Need a couple “for instances”? Ok first off He washed Judas Iscariot’s feet and second, NONE of the other disciples knew it was Judas that would betray Jesus. As an ambassador, you’re not entitled to an opinion, unless it mirrors the One you represent. And as a forgiven sinner, you have no right in being offended (upset). That is of course, unless their offence, exceeds the ones you nailed Christ to the cross with.

The name of the Messiah

February 19, 2018 • Fred

This is a post about what do we  call the one who saved us or what do we call the Messiah, the Son of GOD. This subject was mentioned a little bit in one of the videos I made. I didn’t go into much details and I feel I need to also clear some stuff up on that.

The messiah’s name is a much talked about subject and I have talked to several about what to call our savior and many have talked to me about his name. I have seen many videos, blogs, sites facebook posts and more about this. Some people prefer to call him Jesus and some will only call him Jesus. Some people refuse to call him Jesus and only call him Yeshua ( some times spelled differently, there is a list on the about page of a few).  Some even use both names such as my self. Both sides of this debate have a lot of good points. So to figure this one out I did have to go to GOD.

Now a lot of times how GOD talks to me is he brings up scripture that I have heard or read and in this case the scripture that was brought up is the one about a house divided against itself can not stand (Mark 3:25 and Matthew 12:22). Now to understand how this fits into which name to use you will also need to know something else that I came across and some of my friends had even mentioned and that is that you can in fact stop an alien abduction just by calling out to the name of Jesus. Now you also need to know that aliens are actually demons and you can find all kinds of info about this all over the web. Now with the light of that info you can see that aliens consider Jesus to be the name of the Messiah and will run off. It should be mentioned in more detail as to why that verse was mentioned. You will need to understand what some say about the name Jesus. What people say is something I am much concerned about repeating specially in light of the verse mentioned above. I will only say it for informational purposes so you understand more about this.  You know what I might just link to a yahoo group post that I came across that has some of this so I don’t have to type it. Yahoo Group about the name of Jesus .

Any way in light of this information I use both names as I know Yeshua has meaning in fact I think it means Yah is Salvation or Yah is savior depending on where you look.

Also note that no matter which name you use it is important to have a relationship with the Son of GOD. It should also noted we get to have a relationship with the Son of GOD which is a great thing indeed.
